This site is about the history of shoes from the antiquity to the 1980s. It shows how shoe style changed and developed since antiquity and even includes explanations and some historical background. The website was written by Kristine Byrnes, a graphic designer and shoe enthusiast. It is pretty reliable, because she listed the books she worked through to get the information from. I can use this timeline and pick the most important pieces of information to create my small history-of-shoes-introduction at the beginning of the documentary. It is very useful, because it is complete and detailed.

I really want to go there and make it a part of my documentary because they sell awesome high heels.

This website is about a shop in Phoenix Market City where you can buy shoes. It is the official website of Vans, which is a “leading lifestyle brand for the youth market”. I really want to go there and make it a part of my documentary because they sell awesome skater shoes and I want to include more types of shoes in my documentary, not just high heels.

This website is about a shop in Phoenix Market City where you can buy shoes. It is the official website of Converse, which is an “iconic sport shoes brand”. I really want to go there and make it a part of my documentary because they sell shoes that I personally find ugly but I want to include more types of shoes in my documentary, not just the ones I like.

This website is about a shop in UB City where you can buy designer shoes. It is the official website of Jimmy Choo in UB City, which is a “brand synonymous with style, elegance and charisma”. I really want to go there and make it a part of my documentary because they sell shoes that I personally find ugly but I want to include more types of shoes in my documentary, not just the ones I like. I will ask the saleswomen there why she thinks that anyone would spend that much money on ugly shoes.

This website is about a shop in UB City where you can buy designer shoes. It is the official website of Diesel in UB City, which is an “Italian design company best known for luxury clothing aimed at young adults, is internationally acclaimed for its jeans wear”, but they usually sell shoes, too. I really want to go there and make it a part of my documentary because I like the brand and I guess I will interview a salesman there.

This website shows the opposite opinion: Shoes are unnecessary and “stupid”. The article is especially related to shoe fashion in India. It was written by a guy with the nickname “the BIG K”. Obviously it is not very neutral because it expresses a personal opinion of a guy who is very biased, but I think shoes are a very personal issue and everyone is allowed to have a different shoe style to express personality. I think I will use some quotes read out loud in my documentary, but in a way and at the right time so that they just sound stupid.

This website really helped me, because it points out all of the conventions of documentary film making that might be important to our documentary. This website will help me with my design as it saves a lot of time because I don’t have to research on conventions and then put the results together, because somebody already did that for me.

This website really helped me, because it points out all of the different documentary styles and genres that I might use for my documentary. This website will help me with my design as it saves a lot of time because I don’t have to research on the different styles and genres any more and then put the results together, because somebody already did that for me.
