INVESTIGATE

CRITERIA: The student explains the problem, discussing its relevance. The student critically investigates the problem, evaluating information from a broad range of appropriate, acknowledged sources. The student describes detailed methods for appropriate testing to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.


This unit is about creating a piece of House Music (15 to 30 minutes long). The link to the technology course is that we are using  Audacity, Garageband, or an equivalent Audio program to create that piece of house music. I personally really like the topic, because I like listening to House Music and i think its very interesting to learn how to actually create a piece of music myself.

Mr Chettri - Stonehill music teacher
On the 19th of April, Mr Chettri came to talk to our class about composition. The most important and relevant thing he taught us was that you have sections in a music piece that repeat.
